The Request to County Court for Judgment of Payment letter is to accompany Form N225 where the Defendant has admitted to the debt (on form N9A) but has offered no payment proposal. 

The Claimant requests payment per the details set out in part C of the form. County Court form N225 is applied where the claim is for a specified amount. County Court Form N227 should be completed for unspecified amounts.

The form provides for a number of different scenarios:
1. Failure of the Defendant to file a defence within 14 days and therefore requesting judgment by default 
2. Receipt of the Defendant's Admission Form N9A with Claimant accepting the proposed payment offer.
3. Receipt of the Defendant's Admission Form N9A but the Claimant objecting to the payment proposal of the Defendant.
